A wonderful evening was had by all as Arthur Bancroft and Roden Alan entertained us with a brand of music seldom heard these days. Arthur playing inspirational music on his violin and a domestic saw being accompanied by Alan on his accordion. We were all winners this evening apart from those after the big money. Suzanne Davison was the winner of the raffle that could open the £1000 Treasure Chest, but she picked key number 3 which was the wrong one, so it rolls over to next month with £1000 still up for grabs. Mr Philip Gore could have won £25 with the Free Draw had he been present, so it now rolls over to next month with a prize of £50 to be won. But remember you have to be there to win it. There were some winners, Martin Higginson walked away with £115 as the winner of the 200 club draw, followed by J.D. Owen who won £46 with Anne Dicks coming third with £24 The football scratch card team was Hamilton picked by Alan Magor who went away £20 the richer.
