Warwickshire Under 14's Championship
The Warwickshire Golf Union would like to thank all the members of North Warwickshire Golf Club for hosting us once again for the Under 14 and Under 12 Boys County Championship.
The course was in fantastic condition, the greens were immaculate and the tees have certainly benefitted from the recent irrigation installed. All of the competitors and parents were very complimentary. Please pass on our thanks to John and his team who had clearly been out very early in the morning mowing and raking.
The winner of the North Warwickshire Salver (Under 14s) for 2025 was Hudson Eckloff, a new member at North Warwickshire who has recently joined from Stonebridge. I believe this is the first time a home club member has won this trophy since a certain Rob Ganley did quite a few years ago now . Hudson’s gross 79 from the white tees was a fantastic score given the rain had finally arrived, as always seems to be the case for this particular championship.
The Under 12s Championship was won by Bradley Cleaver from Olton Golf Club with a score of 94.
Thanks to Dave Charlton who worked admirably behind the bar keeping the parents and competitors happy and to Deb for the burger and chips that all the competitors enjoyed.
Many Thank and let’s hope for another North Warwickshire winner later this year in the Howitt Bowl.
