Ever thought of playing golf, now is your chance. We are holding a FREE taster session on Saturday 26th January 2019 from 10.am until 12.00pm. Just come along, we provide all the golf equipment, just wear flat shoes and have a go. You can then if you wish take a course of six group lessons for only £30. There is no need to book just turn up on the day.
Walking a golf course certainly counts as exercise. On our course you will walk about 3 miles playing 9 holes. Studies have found that walking 9 holes is about equal to brisk walking in terms of intensity [even though golf walking is stop-and-go.] A golfer may walk three miles and burn 500 to 600 calories during an average round with help from swinging clubs.
