During the current Covid-19 outbreak the following local rules will apply.
Golfers are required to leave the flagstick in the hole at all times. The ball is considered holed if any part of the ball is below the surface of the putting green, even if not lodged against the flagstick
A player may place a ball in a bunker within 6 inches of the original spot not nearer the hole. (using model Local Rule E-3). The distance for preferred lies is limited to 6 inches and the area cannot be smoothed before placing
3 All movable obstructions are now classed as immovable obstructions and must not be touched. Free relief is allowed anywhere on the course except when the ball is within a penalty area. When a player’s ball is in a Penalty Area there is no relief from interference from an abnormal course condition (immovable obstruction). The player’s only relief option is to take penalty relief under Rule 17.
