1. OUT OF BOUNDS [Rule 18]
Beyond any hedge, fence or line of white stakes defining the boundary of the course.
On or beyond any painted white line defining the boundary of the course.
2. PENALTY AREAS [Rule17]
[a] The Stream Crossing the 7th/16th & 8th/17th holes, together with the tank/shed area, and the ditches in front of the hedgerows on all the above holes are Red Penalty Areas. The outer edge of the red line defines the penalty area. Red stakes act to show where the Penalty Area is.
[b] The shed/tank area, together with the ditches before the hedgerows are red penalty areas that are marked on side only. In these areas the penalty area extends to, and coincides with the out of bounds line. Opposite Side Relief is available for these areas only, Model Local Rule: B-2.1 is in effect.
[c] Men's 7th Teeing Area only: Provisional ball option, Model Local Rule B-3 is in effect.
3. ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS (INCLUDING IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS) (RULE 16)
[a] Ground Under Repair: Any encircled with white line.
[b] Animal Damage: Model Local Rule F-10 is in effect.
[c] Immovable Obstructions: All roads and paths that are artificially surfaced. Rule 16.1 applies.
[d] Immovable Obstructions close to the putting green: Model Local Rule F-5 is in effect.
4. NO PLAY ZONES (Rule 2.4)
[a] Any Area encircled with blue line.
[b] Young Staked Trees: If a player's ball lies anywhere on the course other than in a penalty area and it lies or touches such a tree or such a tree interferes with the player's stance or intended swing, the player must take relief under Rule 16.1f
5. INTEGRAL PARTS OF COURSE.
Penalty Area Bridges, boundary stiles, are integral objects.
6. EQUIPMENT RESTRICTIONS (Scratch Competitions Only)
[a] List of Conforming Balls: Model Local Rule G-3 is in effect.
[b] List of Conforming Driver Heads: Model Local Rule G-1 is in effect.
[c] Groove & Punch Mark Specifications: Model Local Rule G-2 is in effect. Penalty for breach of this Local Rule: Disqualification.
7. TRANSPORTATION (Club Competitions Only)
During a competition round a player must not ride on any form of motorised transport except as approved by the Competition Secretary. Model Local Rule G-6 is in effect.
8. SUSPENSION OF PLAY (Rule 5.7) Air Horn Signals.
[a] A dangerous situation will be signalled by One Long Blast.
[b] All other suspensions will be signalled by One Short Blast.
In either case, resumptions of play will be signalled by 2 Short Blasts. See Rule 5.7b.

Blue Discs 200 yards to the centre of the green.
